Word to Daytona: Go Vintage

Pics of the 2010 Daytona 500 pace car Camaro surfaced on the web today, and damned if it's not an ugly mofo, a continuation of the Daytona tradition that began in around 1972. The 2010 Frankenmaro is orange sorbet, blue and tough on the eyes.
It wasn't always this way, of course, and we'd suggest the race go retro next year (what with the demise of the Big Three and all) and lead the cars out with the '69 Camaro pace car.
