Porsche 911: The Green Machine?

Porsche's new green ad campaign touts the 911's lower emissions, fuel consumption and yes, additional horsepower. We're all for saving the environment, especially from the seat of this Carrera S (even if it is the color of an old woman's fingernail polish) . But we doubt the ad is appealing to the Prius crowd.
The car's 25 on the highway and your 17 in the city doesn't impress, even if we did believe it.
Zero to 60 in 4.5 and 188 mph top speed, however, gives us a rise. The 911 is for driving. If you looking for green transportation, we suggest Amtrak.
